Who We Are J P Graphics has been a husband and wife owned and operated business since 1974. All production is done in our studio so that quality can be assessed at each step to assure the most accurate color and image reproduction possible. Our Photo Tile Process is NOT like the others: The JP Graphics photo tile process is NOT dye sublimation, heat transfer or other more common, less durable technology. Only Our Photo Tile Process is This Unique: Using precisely calibrated, high-resolution scanners, sophisticated equipment, computers and exacting procedures, we convert photographs and art into multiple layers of glass glazes that are kiln-fired onto ceramic tiles. This proprietary process transforms your photographs, logos, or any other scannable art into extremely high-resolution, permanent photographic images on ceramic/porcelain tiles. Even when greatly enlarged for murals, the image resolution is remarkable. Names and text can be added. And, like stained glass windows, the colors and images on our photo tiles are: Permanent for Exterior Applications • Frost proof • Waterproof • Scratch proof • Stain proof • UV/Fade proof • Heat proof for fireplaces or other hot surfaces Photo tiles are easy to Maintain and Clean • Graffiti such as enamels, spray paint, markers, etc. wipe off with normal glass cleaners or household solvents • Dishwasher safe Photo tiles are easy to Install • Use traditional interior and exterior adhesives and standard grouts, even sanded grouts will not mar our photo tiles • Photo tiles are numbered left to right, top to bottom and a layout key is provided for installing multiple-tile murals • Special exterior-grade, double-sided tape for surface mount or silicon cement for inset memorial headstone applications Photo Tile Sizes • A variety of individual tile sizes range from 1” mosaics through standard 6” up to larger sizes such as 14”x16” • Use multiple photo tiles to compose larger murals Production Time • Normal turnaround time is 4-6 weeks from receipt of your image, payment and written approval. Faster service is available but may require an extra charge. • Custom art, retouching, large-scale murals, material delivery delays/shortages, special requests, etc. influence production schedules, however we do everything possible to deliver your photo tiles on time. Image Submissions • 35mm slides, color or black/white prints, scannable art, transparencies • digital images and computer-generated art – call our PrePress staff for requirements.
